I created a .gitignore file and inserted few directories in it. When i ran this command,<\/p>\n

Got this error message<\/p>\n
The following paths are ignored by one of your .gitignore files:<\/p>\n
myfiles\/<\/p>\n
Use -f if you really want to add them. fatal: no files added<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It worked after i added a comment. Now, when i remove the comment, it still works. WTF!?<\/p>\n
