Host your own website using Kubuntu and Orange’s My.T
1. Install Apache, PHP, MySQL and other services you want
$ sudo apt-get install apache2 php5
2. Your web directory will be situated at “/var/www” by default. I changed mine to a directory in my NTS partition though.
3. Go to 192.168.1.1 and login. (Default username and password: admin, admin)
4. Go to LAN Server and click the “Add” button. A screen as this follows should appear
5. Put anything in “Server name”.
Set “Access activated” to ‘Yes’ and “Port from” and “To” to ’80’.
Leave the “Local IP address” as it is for you
6. Know your IP address
In the left menu, go to “My Service >> Internet Access”
You should see your IP address.
If you type your IP address in your browser’s address bar, you would be able access your Livebox configuration again. But if you ask your friend to access this IP address, they would be able to access your localhost 🙂
7. If you want to share another folder from your Hard Drive such as your music files etc, you can create a shortcut to the folder in your localhost directory.

First Blood Donation
I finally donated my blood today. I was very afraid to do so. I did it in the mobile blood donation bus.
The most painful stage is when they prick your thumb to collect few drops of blood to see if it sinks in some sort of solution. If it sinks, then you can donate your blood.
After this, they make you lie down and relax a bit. They take your blood pressure and then put the needle and start collecting the blood. It doesn’t hurt during the blood collection. It took around 5 minutes.
When it finished, they gave me a juice and some biscuits. I am very much relieved now 🙂
Police Server at Line Barracks Crashes
My dad went to take his driving oral test today. He did the test but when the policemen were scanning the results, a crash occured to their servers. My dad told me that lots of experts tried to fix the problem. But it took them 4 hours to finally fix it. They said it was the first time something like this happened.
Anyways, my dad’s results after all these said he commited 9 mistakes while my dad estimates it at only 3.
