First time to cinema: Avengers

In my twenty years of existence, today was the first time i went to the cinema.

We intended to watch Avengers in 2D. But when we reached there, we found out it was playing in 3D.ย  ๐Ÿ˜€

We paid Rs250. Not bad.

I was really afraid when the first time some images were displayed on the screen. Then there were Indian movie commercials. I thought they misplaced the movie. n00b. lol

Then the movie started. It was awesome. The 3D effects were very visible and the spectacles they provided were not that uncomfortable. It was very light and made of plastic.

One thing i didn’t like about they movie was the fight between Thor and Iron Man. It was like “fake”. Seriously!? Thor, the “God of War” having a fight with a man made metal machine which goes that long. Iron Man should have been reduced to dust. I find the scene kinda embarrassing got Thor.

Anyways, the rest of the movie was awesome! The actress was HOTย  ๐Ÿ˜€

I really enjoyed it ๐Ÿ™‚

Annoying bug in Facebook Calendar for Android

image___image

Android syncs your Facebook events into your phone calendar. It’s awesome! Except the fact that it doesn’t hide the events you declined despite it has a setting for it.

I googled the issue. Lots of people experienced this. There is no fix for it. Hope the devs fix it. But i guess Android 2.x is no longer developed as Android 4.x is the “star” now.

Just dropped my laptop to repair centre.

They said they will give the apparatus to Harrell Mallac on Friday.

They will receive a technical report next Wednesday. I hope they won’t make long with it. I MUST have my laptop in 2 week time. I’m starting to get depressive now itself. :-\

Anyways, I should have done this now itself as I’m in holidays. Procrastination is a very bad thing. I must learn to avoid itย  ๐Ÿ™‚

Preparing for sending my Dell Inspiron N5010 for repairs

It’s been more than 1 year and 3 months now since i got my Dell Inspiron N5010 Laptop.

Nothing major happened to it. The DVD-RW drive stopped recognizing discs and the CPU would go to temps higher than 100C when using CPU intensive applications.

I guess dust has accumulated in the CPU fan preventing proper air ventilation. I can’t play Need for Speed Most Wanted for more than 10 mins because of this.

It would be cool if the DVD-RW drive could be replaced with another Hard-Disk but i don’t think they’ll agree to do it. :S

The warranty is provided by Harell Mallac. Hope the service will be quick and efficient. I know lots of people have the same laptop as mine.

Dunno if they got some privacy policy or things like that.ย  I’ll be formatting my main OS so that there would no stored password on browsers etc. Hope they don’t browse my 3rd partition in which i store all my medias, codings etc. :-/
